Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking or create an account with The Legacy Airbnb. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. When you submit a reservation request, we will review and confirm it within 24 hours. A booking is only considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email with a booking reference number.

You must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse bookings if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity or inaccurate information.

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated. Pricing includes nightly accommodation rates as listed. Additional fees such as cleaning fees, service fees, and applicable taxes will be clearly displayed before you confirm your booking.

Payment is required in full at the time of booking. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated during checkout. For extended stays, we may offer payment plans subject to separate agreement.

Cancellation policies vary by property and rate type. Specific cancellation terms for your booking will be displayed during the reservation process and in your confirmation email.

Generally, cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund minus any processing fees. Cancellations within 14 days may be subject to partial or no refund depending on the property policy. No-shows are non-refundable.

As a guest, you agree to:

• Respect the property and its contents, leaving it in reasonable condition
• Follow all house rules and guidelines provided for each property
• Not exceed the maximum number of guests specified in your booking
• Not use the property for illegal activities or commercial purposes
• Report any damage or issues immediately to our support team
• Respect the privacy and rights of neighboring residents

Check-in instructions, including property access details and key collection procedures, will be provided in your confirmation email and again 24 hours before arrival. You are responsible for safeguarding keys and access codes during your stay. Loss of keys or failure to return them may result in a replacement fee.

Guests are liable for any damage caused to the property or its contents beyond normal wear and tear. You authorize us to charge your payment method for any repair or replacement costs, up to a reasonable amount. In cases of excessive damage, we reserve the right to pursue additional claims.

We carry insurance for the properties, but we strongly recommend that guests obtain personal travel insurance to cover unexpected events, cancellations, and personal belongings.

The Legacy Airbnb acts as an intermediary between property owners and guests. We do not own the properties listed on our platform. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for your booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of The Legacy Airbnb and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
